Every plan opens the full terminal — the tools are not the paywall. What a plan changes is what it meters:

The free Retail plan gets 3 chart-copilot AI answers a day and 15 a month, and 25 live-data sessions a month; paying removes both counts and adds compute hours and faster support.
Live tick-for-tick data is crypto spot (BTC, ETH and SOL) from Coinbase; equities run on polled vendor quotes over our own stored history, not a real-time feed.

The trial starts when you complete checkout. After the trial, the full selected monthly or annual price is charged automatically and the subscription renews at that interval until you cancel. Cancel anytime in Settings → Billing. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the first charge.
Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you choose until you cancel. Cancel from Settings → Billing, which opens the Stripe billing portal, or by email to sales@quantz.online.
Compute hours meter the AI work that runs on our servers — copilot answers, chart analysis, AI summaries, and reading plain-English commands and alerts. Charts, market data, alert evaluation and Strategy Lab backtests (which run in your browser) never consume them. Unused monthly hours don’t roll over. Mid-cycle top-ups are priced at a flat $0.40 / hour and are not on sale yet: you are charged only for what is live — your plan.
Unmetered means no daily or monthly count: a paid plan has no cap on chart-copilot AI answers (the free Retail plan gets 3 a day and 15 a month) and no cap on live-data sessions (the free Retail plan gets 25 a month). The ceilings that remain on every plan are its monthly compute hours and the per-minute fair-use rate limits.

Yes. Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. One click on Settings → Billing opens the Stripe billing portal for your account, where you cancel — no email and no call needed. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you have already paid for stays open until it ends, and then the plan returns to Retail. Prefer email? sales@quantz.online works too.
Nothing is deleted. Watchlists, drawings, alerts and workspaces stay intact and stay usable — none of them check your plan. A downgrade does change six things: your monthly compute-hour allotment, live scan data drops to the 15-minute delayed snapshot outside your monthly live sessions, the chart copilot moves to 3 AI answers a day and 15 a month, fair-use rate limits return to the free baseline, chart-analysis chat runs the same model with a lighter thinking setting, and support slows down.
Live crypto flows tick-for-tick from real venue feeds; equities use vendor data with our own stored history behind it. Anywhere data is simulated, the widget wears an amber SIM badge — we never dress up fake data as live.
The chart copilot’s chat runs on Google’s Gemini. “Analyze this chart” is written by whichever of OpenAI’s GPT-4o mini, Anthropic’s Claude Haiku or Google’s Gemini is configured, tried in that order. Typed screens on the screener are read by Anthropic’s Claude or OpenAI, with our own hosted model as the last fallback. A few structured tasks — reading a typed command, summarising a journal entry or a symbol — can run on that hosted model, stamped quantz-llm. The Ask QuantZ support assistant answers from set replies and from our own pages word for word; only when those do not cover a question does Google’s Gemini write the answer, from those pages. Each answer a model wrote names that model. AI commentary is model-generated, not sourced data.
One payment covers 12 months at ten months’ price — two months free versus monthly (Analyst $390/yr, Desk $990/yr). Handled by Stripe; switch or cancel at any renewal.
If something you paid for is broken and is not fixed promptly, we refund the charge for it. Email sales@quantz.online from your account address within 14 days of that charge. Cancelling does not refund the period already paid for.
No. QuantZ is an analysis tool. Signals, backtests, and AI commentary are informational — trading decisions and their outcomes are yours.
