Technical Signal
One word describing what the indicators currently show. It is a restatement of the Momentum Score in words — nothing else enters it — and it is not a view on what happens next.
What this label is not
It is not a recommendation, and it did not become one by being coloured green. This column was once headed with the language of advice and carried a two-word instruction to trade — a verb aimed at the reader, identical whether that reader was a retiree or a day trader. That is advice we are not licensed to give, so the words describe the indicators instead. The underlying number never changed.
It also inherits every limit of the score beneath it: two same-day inputs, and no out-of-sample test against forward returns. A STRONG BULLISH row is a statement about today’s tape, not evidence about tomorrow’s.
Technical signals describe indicator readings, not advice. QuantZ is not a registered investment adviser and does not recommend securities or provide personalised advice.
The bands
Five postures, cut from the 0–100 score. The boundaries are deliberately reproduced as they run in code, including the asymmetry: the bullish edges are inclusive (≥) while the middle ones are exclusive (>). That is how the shipped function behaves, so it is what is published.

There are two band sets
The live stream and scan surfaces use wider extremes than the screener table. The same score of 76 therefore reads BULLISH in the screener and STRONG BULLISH on a streaming surface. That is a real inconsistency in the product, it predates this page, and the honest first step is to say so rather than quietly change what shipped surfaces display.

A score that is not a finite number reads NEUTRAL in both sets — never a default posture that flatters the tape.
Both tables are rendered from the same exported bands the labelling function reads. If a threshold moves, this page moves with it.
